Dear Colleague
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to the EAU Regional Meetings. The objective of these meetings is to develop a platform, where new experimental and clinical work from the region is presented to an international audience. It is the ideal forum for urologists from the region to meet colleagues with similar interests and to develop urological networks within the region.
The call for abstracts was a tremendous success and the Advisory Board has compiled a superb program. In order to give the EAU Regional Meetings more focus and attention all programmes and abstracts will be incorporated into one issue of European Urology Supplement. Including the abstracts in an international journal allows them to be cited, therefore documenting the academic productivity of the region.
